Plex content goes through the same KSPlayer / MPV / VLC pipeline as IPTV — meaning 4K HEVC 50fps Plex remuxes play smoothly even on Apple TV 4K (3rd gen).
Do I need Plex Pass?
No. The OneTV Connect ↔ Plex integration uses the standard Plex API and works on any free Plex account. Plex Pass benefits (hardware transcoding, premium features) come from the Plex server side and are independent of which app you use.
What about Plex Discover Watchlist?
Supported. The Plex Discover watchlist (the one you build from the Plex catalog browsing experience) syncs into OneTV Connect's "Watchlist" rail. Tapping any item resolves to the best available source: your local Plex server first, then your IPTV catalog, then the public catalog. No dead ends.
Can I play 4K HDR from Plex?
Yes — KSPlayer is the engine used by default for Plex content because it handles 4K HEVC 50fps and HDR cleanly on Apple TV 4K. You can switch to MPV or VLC per-title if you prefer.
Does it support multiple Plex servers?
Yes, all servers attached to your Plex account appear in the source switcher — you can have a home server + a friend's shared server + a remote VPS, and switch between them in one gesture. Your favorites and watch positions are tracked per-server.
