LIVE ACTIVITIES AND ALERTS
The match follows you, even when the screen is locked.
On the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
Put a live match on the Apple TV and a Live Activity starts on your iPhone by itself. The Lock Screen shows the competition, both crests, the score, the minute, a progress bar and the latest event: a goal, a card, a substitution or a VAR check. In the Dynamic Island the two scores sit either side of the camera and change the moment a goal goes in.
Our servers refresh it about every fifteen seconds while the match is on, even with the app closed. The final score stays for ten minutes after the whistle, and the same scoreboard appears in the Smart Stack of a paired Apple Watch.
A notification for every moment you choose
Follow a team, a whole league or a single match, then pick what reaches you. Scores adapt to the sport: goals, tries, touchdowns or runs.

Are detailed statistics available for every match?
Coverage varies by sport, competition and available data. Some fixtures provide only a score; others include more detail.
Are scores instant?
Data refreshes regularly. There can be a delay compared with the action on the field and your provider’s video stream.
How do I see the score on my iPhone Lock Screen?
